Sell access to a video or online course
In addition to selling tickets to an event, you can also sell access to your videos embedded on an external platform: YouTube, Vimeo or Berrycast.
Create a simple sales page for access to a video or online course in the organizer's dashboard
-
Creating a sales page
You can sell access to videos or online courses only as part of a simple event.
In the event editing, you can define any number of videos that the user will have access to after making a payment. Just paste the video IDs from the selected service: YouTube.com, Vimeo.com or Berrycast.com.
-
Purchase access to video
The user makes a one-time purchase of access to the video for the period specified in the settings: 7 days, 14 days, 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, 120 days, 150 days or 180 days. During the purchase, the user does not activate the subscription.
The time of access to the video is counted from the day of online payment or approval of payment made by traditional transfer.
-
Additional video access
During the user access period to your videos, you can individually assign selected users a longer access period to the video than the global sales settings (max. 180 days).
In the event edition, there is a tool that allows you to send free access to the video to anyone.
-
Start of providing access to digital content
To purchase access to the video, the user is required to indicate consent in the form with the following content:
I consent to the immediate performance of the service and delivery of the digital content before the expiry of the 14-day withdrawal period and I acknowledge that upon delivery of the digital content I will lose the right to withdraw from the contract.
This means that if a customer cancels their purchase, you will not be obligated to provide a refund.
-
Video Access PIN
After making the online payment or, in the case of a traditional transfer, manual confirmation by the organizer, the user receives an email with an individual link to a page where access to the video is protected by a PIN.

Recommendations
- It is best to upload your video to the Vimeo.com or Berrycast.com platform. Using their paid packages guarantees that the generated iframe player will not have any external links that would allow the user to launch the video in a new browser window, and thus pass on links to your videos to third parties.
- Upload video files in HD quality at most. Playing a video in 4K or higher quality via the iframe player may cause errors in the user's browser that prevent the video from being viewed.

Authorization to access a video or online course
