Event widget – embed a ticket purchase form on any page

Complete information on the possibility of embedding an event widget on any external website supporting third-party cookies.

When you create an event on our website, you have an individual and direct link to your event's website, where the user can buy a ticket or register for a free event.

Additionally, you can embed an event widget on your website. You can also engage your partners to embed your event widget on their websites. In this way, you will create your own affiliate network, where you will settle accounts with partners for the effect (paid tickets).

How does an event widget work?

An event ticket purchase form (or registration form for a free event) can be embedded on any website (yours or your partner's). The process of purchasing a ticket or free registration will take place only on the website where the widget was embedded, without going to the Event on Click website.

In the case of online payment, the user will be redirected to a new browser window to the operator's payment page. After making the payment, the participant will be redirected back to the source page where the widget is embedded, where he will be able to directly download the PDF ticket to his device.

In the case of a free event or when the user makes a traditional transfer to the organizer's bank account, after the organizer has approved the ticket, the participant receives an e-mail with his or her ticket.
Your affiliate network

In acquiring new customers, you can involve your partners who will also embed your event widget on their website. For those interested, provide the instructions available in the edition of your event (in the organizer's panel).

Settlements with partners

In the ticket details, you will see information on which website (the exact address of embedding the widget) the participant purchased the ticket, which may constitute the basis for settlements with your partners.

Report generation

In the organizer panel, in the Participants tab, export participants' data to a CSV file that will contain the "sales channel" column.
Widget functionality
- The widget is currently only available for simple events: paid events and free events for participants.
- The event widget is displayed in a dark or light theme depending on your device and browser settings.
- Support for all currencies available on the website, i.e. EUR, USD, PLN.
- If you choose PLN, all permanent elements of the widget and the ticket purchase or registration process are in Polish. In the case of other currencies - in English. The operator's payment page is also influenced by the user's location and browser language.
- Support for all available payment methods: traditional transfer, immediate online payments and deferred online payments. Commissions for online payments are the same as when paying directly on the Event on Click website.
- Support for GDPR requirements Omnibus (Europe) - additional information is displayed when you enter a promotional price in addition to the regular price.
- Approval and use of discount codes. By default, this function is not activated. You can run it in the event edition (Payments tab).
- Providing invoice data by the user. For events in PLN, there is an option to download data from the Central Statistical Office after entering the correct Tax Identification Number.
The widget does not support file sales or access to online or video courses.
Widget installation instructions

Detailed instructions for embedding the widget can be found in the edition of your event, where you will see the green "Widget" button.

General instructions
- On the subpage of the website where you want to place the widget, paste the code (available in the edition of your event) after the body closing tag.
- Paste a dedicated div tag anywhere in the content of this subpage.
