Check if you are using all the possibilities of Event on Click
The diagram shows the process of using the Event on Click service functionality from the perspective of the event organizer. The Event on Click functionality diagram consists of many elements that have been described in this text.
The starting point is the sales process, which means the possibility of selling:
Digital products: files and online courses (video).
Tickets as part of created events.
There are 2 aspects of events:
- Distribution places: we distinguish simple events and events with ticket variants:
- Simple events can be published on the website and using a widget on any external domain, and thanks to this you can create your own affiliate network.
- Events with ticket variants can only be published on the website.
- Distribution resources: PDF certificates and PDF tickets:
- The PDF certificate is sent by the event organizer to the participant, as a result of which the certificate is saved in the certificate database. This allows for verification of the certificate by third parties.
- PDF tickets: each PDF ticket has a unique QR code that can be scanned with a dedicated application. More about tickets in the next paragraph.
Tickets are distributed in 3 ways:
- Stationary sales: generating bearer tickets.
- Sending free tickets to a specified e-mail address.
- Online sales: we distinguish between free tickets and paid tickets. The new paragraph will only contain information about paid tickets.
Each paid ticket has a price:
- A paid ticket can have a price defined by the participant, i.e. the participant pays as much as they want.
- A paid ticket with a price defined by the event organizer. We distinguish regular prices and promotional prices. The organizer can also generate discount coupons for its recipients.
Payments for tickets – there are 2 payment methods:
- Bank transfer to the organizer’s bank account.
- Online payments: we distinguish immediate online payments (available in PLN, EUR, USD) and deferred online payments (available in PLN and EUR).
When the user provides the invoice data in the ticket purchase form, and the organizer integrates the API of their organizer account with an external operator for generating invoices (infakt.pl or wfirma.pl), the participant will receive the invoice in the form of a PDF file to their email address after making the payment.
