Stationary ticket sales
Event on Click also supports stationary ticket sales. In the following few steps, we present an example scenario of using the platform's functionality to sell tickets at the venue of your event.
Depending on the specifics of your event, plan your own participant service path.
1. Laptop with printer and Internet access
1. Laptop with a printer and Internet access. At the gate, before entering the event area, organize a cash desk equipped with a laptop with a printer and stable Internet access.
Check the quality of your laptop's Internet connection at the place where ticket sales will take place. We do not recommend using open Wi-Fi, public hotspot at the event venue for 2 reasons:
- This type of network may be used by many participants during the event, which will affect the stability of the data transfer process and thus prevent you from quickly generating tickets in the organizer's panel.
- This is not a safe solution. When using systems that process personal data (and the Event on Click platform is such a system), an appropriately secured Internet network should be used, at least in the WPA2-PSK standard.
Laptop: generating a ticket in the organizer panel, downloading a PDF file
Printer: ticket printing
2. Acceptance of payment for the ticket
Depending on your situation, you may need to have:
- cash register
- POS payment terminal to accept card
Alternatively, you can print a QR code on the poster with a link to the event on the Event on Click platform, for which the participant will register himself and pay for the ticket using the online payment method of his choice.
3. Generating a ticket in the organizer's panel
Log in to the organizer panel as an event organizer or team member (with appropriate permissions) and go to edit your event. Depending on the nature of the event and the entire participant service process, choose one of two options:
(A) "Bearer ticket"
The participant does not provide any personal data. With one click you generate a ticket for him. Then, with a second click, you download the PDF file to your laptop and print it on paper. Each ticket has a unique QR code, which you can confirm using our ticket scanning application.
The participant only has a paper ticket. You do not have any personal data about the participant.
Generating a bearer ticket in the "click" edition of the event. In the case of an event with ticket variants, select the ticket variant from the list.

(B) "Send a ticket"
The participant first provides his name and surname and e-mail address. Then you generate a ticket, and the participant receives an email with a PDF ticket.
This option is useful if, after the event, you will send personalized certificates to participants via the Event on Click platform.
The difficulty of this option is that the participant must provide his/her personal data. It is your responsibility to create such spatial conditions during the transaction to maintain the confidentiality of personal data when transferring them.
If the ticket generation will take place on a phone or tablet, you can briefly share the device with the participant so that they can enter their name and e-mail address without having to dictate them verbally.
The ticket generation form takes up the entire screen of the device without visibility into other parts of the organizer panel.

4. Ticket printout
Depending on the option selected, print a ticket for the participant.
The PDF file is prepared for printing in A4 format.
